Therapy Where Your Child Lives, Learns, and Plays
Skills stick when they are taught where they will be used. At home, that means mealtime routines at your own table and communication with the people your child lives with. At school or daycare, your child's technician works alongside teachers so classroom skills, transitions, and peer interaction are addressed where they happen, and your BCBA coordinates directly with school staff. In the community, sessions can target the situations many families find hardest: the grocery store, the playground, the doctor's office. Your BCBA builds one treatment plan that follows your child across all of these settings.

For toddlers and preschoolers, early intensive behavioral intervention takes advantage of the years when learning new skills comes fastest.
